Mystrika review 2026: cold email at an unusually low price

4.3By Will
4.3/ 5

Our verdict

Mystrika · Free forever plan; paid from $30/mo ($16/mo billed annually)

Strong value and a rare free tier that is actually useful. Treat the deliverability claims with caution and check your legal footing before you send a single cold email.

Visit Mystrika

Pros

  • Unlimited sending accounts and warm-up on every tier
  • Free plan is usable, not a demo
  • Whitelabel on the top plan suits agencies

Cons

  • Inbox placement claims are vendor-supplied
  • Warm-up pools are a shrinking advantage
  • UK and EU rules on cold email are stricter than the marketing suggests

Cold email tools mostly charge by the sending account, which is why outbound gets expensive fast. Mystrika does not. Every plan, including the free one, comes with unlimited sending accounts and unlimited warm-up, and that alone puts it in a different price bracket to the better-known names.

The tooling is good and the value is real. The parts worth slowing down over are the deliverability promises and, if you are sending from the UK or EU, the law.

What is Mystrika?

Mystrika is a cold email and lead generation platform built for B2B outreach. You connect your sending mailboxes, import a prospect list, write a sequence, and it handles sending, follow-ups, replies and bounce detection. It is made by Fresent, an American software company that also runs Mutant Mail and several other products.

It sits in the same category as Instantly, Smartlead and lemlist, and competes mainly on price and on not metering the thing those tools meter.

Key features

What you get across the plans:

  • Unlimited sending accounts and unlimited warm-up on every tier, free included
  • AI-driven personalisation and provider matching, which pairs sender and recipient mailbox providers
  • A/B testing on subject lines and body copy
  • Unified inbox so replies across every mailbox land in one place
  • Automatic bounce detection and list cleaning
  • Multilingual support and webhook integration, including GoHighLevel
  • Whitelabel on the top plan, so agencies can resell under their own brand

Ease of use and learning curve

Mystrika is a dense product. There is a lot on screen, and the setup path from connecting mailboxes to sending a first sequence involves more decisions than a tool like lemlist puts in front of you. That density is the cost of the flexibility, and experienced outbound operators will not mind it.

If you have never run cold email before, expect to spend time on the mechanics that are not really about Mystrika at all: SPF, DKIM and DMARC on your sending domains, buying separate domains so you are not risking your main one, and pacing your volume. The tool assists with this, but it cannot do it for you, and getting it wrong is how people end up in spam regardless of which platform they bought.

Pricing and value

There is a free forever plan with 500 prospect slots, up to 50 senders, unlimited warm-up and no sending limits. Growth is $30 a month, or $16 billed annually, for 2,500 prospect slots. Dominate, the most popular tier, is $85 a month or $70 annually for 30,000 slots, team workspaces, API and webhook access and AI personalisation. Rampage is $300 a month or $210 annually for 100,000 slots and the whitelabel system.

Priced per prospect rather than per mailbox, this undercuts most of the category, and the free tier is unusual in being enough to run a small real campaign rather than a demo. For an agency, the whitelabel tier at $210 a month annually is the standout number.

Where it falls short

Mystrika advertises 95% or better inbox placement within fourteen days. That is the vendor's own figure, measured by the vendor, and no cold email platform can promise inbox placement, because placement is decided by Google and Microsoft based on your domain reputation, your list quality and your copy. Treat it as marketing, not a specification.

Unlimited warm-up is sold as a headline benefit and deserves more scepticism than it usually gets. Warm-up pools work by having accounts email each other and mark the messages as important, which is synthetic engagement. Gmail and Microsoft have been getting steadily better at recognising the pattern since the 2024 bulk sender rules landed, so it is a fading advantage rather than a permanent one.

The legal position matters more in the UK and EU than the product's marketing implies. Under PECR you may send unsolicited email to corporate subscribers, meaning limited companies and LLPs, but not to sole traders or ordinary partnerships, who are treated as individuals. GDPR still applies on top: you need a lawful basis, usually legitimate interest, and you must honour objections. Mystrika handles the mechanics of unsubscribe links and sender identification, but who you are allowed to email is your responsibility, not the tool's.

Who should use Mystrika?

It suits B2B sales teams, agencies and founders who already understand outbound and want to run it at a sensible cost. If you are managing many mailboxes, the unlimited sender allowance is worth real money every month, and the whitelabel tier makes it a credible base for an agency service.

Avoid it if you are looking for a newsletter or marketing email tool. That is a different job, and Kit, Beehiiv or Moosend will serve you far better. Avoid it too if you are not prepared to do the deliverability groundwork, because no platform rescues a badly set up domain.

Verdict

On value Mystrika is hard to argue with. Unlimited senders and warm-up on a free tier is not something the established players offer, and the paid tiers stay reasonable as volume grows.

Just buy it with clear eyes. The inbox placement figure is a marketing claim, warm-up is a diminishing edge, and in the UK the rules about who you may contact are stricter than most outreach content admits. Get those three things straight and this is a lot of capability for the money.

Frequently asked questions

Does Mystrika have a free plan?

Yes, and it is a real one. The free forever tier includes 500 prospect slots, up to 50 sending accounts, unlimited warm-up and no sending limits, which is enough to run a small campaign end to end.

Is cold email legal in the UK?

In limited circumstances. PECR allows unsolicited marketing email to corporate subscribers such as limited companies and LLPs, but not to sole traders or ordinary partnerships. GDPR applies as well, so you need a lawful basis and must honour objections and unsubscribe requests promptly. Take your own advice before starting a campaign.

How does Mystrika compare to Instantly or Smartlead?

The main difference is pricing structure. Mystrika charges by prospect slots and leaves sending accounts and warm-up unlimited, where most rivals charge per sending account. If you run many mailboxes, that is a significant monthly saving.
